Passage: John 10:1-21

John 10:1-21 // In contrast to the shepherds (leaders) of this world who tend to pledge their allegiance to themselves, Jesus shows us that he is a different kind of shepherd--a good shepherd--who, by laying down his life, leads us into eternal life. In today's text, we find the beauty of a death that leads to abundant life, and we learn that the resurrection of our Lord Jesus is not a circumstance that follows his death but the essential completion of his death. Jesus truly is the beautiful shepherd worthy of our worship and adoration!
