In John 8:31-38, Jesus clarifies for a group of professing believers what it truly means to be his disciple – to "abide in his word." And Jesus promises that those who do so will experience true freedom. In this message, we will explore what it looks like for us to "abide" in Jesus' word in this way – to make our home in the gospel he teaches, living our lives in it and from it – and that true freedom according to Jesus doesn't mean having no restraints, but enjoying constant communion with God wherever we are.
