Passage: John 7:40-52

In an ironic turn of events, Nicodemus, who was a challenger to Jesus' teaching previously in chapter three, becomes the sole defender of Jesus here in chapter seven. What does it look like to take a stand for Jesus in our daily walk of faith? It may look like taking a bold stand against opposition, but it may also look like a humble surrender and faithful obedience. As Nicodemus grew in his understanding of Jesus and started to take a stand for him despite the risk of losing his status in society, we are called to stay loyal to our King Jesus. What does that look like for us today?
