Passage: John 10:22-42

In John 10:22-42 we find Jesus again engaging in a debate with the Jews in Jerusalem regarding his identity. Jesus makes another bold claim regarding his identity, provoking deadly hostility. This encounter reveals to us the nature of the human heart, bent towards sin and rebellion, and our deep need for a saviour to free us from our sin. It's a battle involving submission, obedience, rule, and reign—God's kingdom versus the world's kingdoms. Jesus invites us to consider his good works, powerful teachings, and God-directed ministry to know, understand, and believe. Will you believe and follow the good shepherd?
