Passage: Hebrews 12:18-29
Oftentimes in our culture, people develop a worldview where truth is unknowable, or always changing and relative. This shaky ground is not good for construction; it’s not good for you to build your life upon such shaky foundation. In contrast, God calls us to build our lives upon the solid rock of Jesus Christ; his righteousness rather than our self-righteousness. Out of his great love for us, he warns us when we try to build our lives without a solid foundation, and he points us toward an unshakable kingdom upon which we can build our lives.
