This past Sunday we continued working through the great faith chapter in Hebrews 11. While being encouraged, and hopefully motivated, by the various ways these "heroes" of the faith trusted in God, we also learned that our faith connects us with the deeper reality of eternity. We are called to a "better home," a "better country" (Heb 11:16) and our forward-moving faith should always be leading us there. Some of the practical ways this homeward bound faith plays out in our lives is through radical obedience to God’s call, trusting in God’s promise, and persevering to the end. What an honour to think that God could use our faith to show his faithfulness to the next generations.
