Passage: Hebrews 2:1-4
Warnings are important. A warning is designed to stop you from doing something that may, or will, lead to negative consequences. Some warnings are minor, whereas other warnings are major, leading to disastrous consequences if not heeded. In Hebrews 2:1-4, we receive a major warning; a warning with eternal consequences. But it's a warning that at its essence, is an exhortation for us to fix our gaze on Christ, and is a warning that is ultimately designed to encourage us to remain steadfast in our faith. To remain firm and persevere amidst the challenges and temptations that we face in life because Jesus is better!
