This Sunday we continue to follow the narrative of Nehemiah. After facing great opposition along the way, Nehemiah now arrives in Jerusalem and witnesses first-hand the destruction and demise of the city. Nehemiah’s passionate heart for God and his thoughtful visionary leadership compel him to call the people of Jerusalem to rise up and rebuild the walls of the city. The people of Jerusalem enthusiastically embrace Nehemiah’s plan and strengthen their hands for God’s good work!
