Did you know that South Delta Baptist Church has a licensed preschool? First Steps Preschool is a play-based preschool that is rooted in our faith and love for Jesus. Teaching basic biblical values that emphasize a relationship with a loving God, we embrace values of love, respect, thankfulness, and concern for others, the environment, and our community. Our preschool is committed to working together with families to foster and nurture their child's first formal learning experiences.
We are blessed with amazing preschool teachers. Each teacher brings different skills and passions to the preschool which in turn creates an environment that supports all the unique qualities children have.
First Steps offers two classes:
- 3-year-old class on Tuesdays & Thursdays (three hours each day); and
- 4-year-old class on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays (four hours each day).
These classes are designed specifically to support the social and emotional development of their specific age groups.
Registration is now open for returning families until February 15th. New families may register via our website starting Saturday, February 22nd.
