All In One Camp is a seasonal camp of Samuel Hill Christian School. Samuel Hill Christian School is an educational institution within the Samuel Hill Community, with campuses in both South Korea and Vancouver, Canada. To nurture global Christian leaders, the school holds two seasonal camps each year—one in Canada during the summer and another in Korea during the winter.
Our education is based on two key pillars:
- developing individuals with a strong, independent, and self-assured identity; and
- cultivating socially responsible individuals who can cooperate with the community through diverse interactions within the community.
Through these principles, we aim to nurture children of faith into Christian leaders. To become an effective global Christian leader, we believe one must develop:
- a solid Christian faith;
- the ability to communicate in English, which opens up many opportunities;
- an appreciation for arts, such as classical music, through which the gospel can be shared;
- sportsmanship; and
- an understanding of world history.
To integrate these elements into the camp experience, our Camp Development Team continuously engages in research and development of the program. Participants do not simply engage in rote memorization or knowledge-based learning; instead, they acquire English naturally through participating in various games and activities, experiencing North American culture, and undergoing holistic personal growth.
Above all, what makes our camp truly special is the opportunity to experience a faith-based community. In today's world, where a sense of belonging is often lacking, campers build meaningful memories of togetherness and shared purpose.
All teachers and staff at this camp are 100% volunteers. We cover our own expenses to travel between Canada and Korea to serve at these camps because we have the desire to repay the debt of gratitude that we owe for the Gospel we received.
In the late 19th century, many missionaries from Canada and the United States came to the unfamiliar land of Korea, planting the seeds of the Gospel and becoming grains of wheat that fell to the ground for the sake of Christ. Because of their sacrifice, we came to believe in Jesus Christ. We aspire to follow in the footsteps of these missionaries who loved Jesus Christ and gave their lives to spreading his Word. Now, we carry the mission of passing this seed of faith to the next generation.
Just as the Apostle Paul strategically spread the Gospel to Rome, leading to its expansion, we hope that our children—equipped with English skills—will be able to share the Gospel of Jesus Christ and demonstrate God's love to people of all nations and cultures. We invite those who share this mission to join us in body and spirit as we work together for this calling.
If you are interested in serving at this camp, we are in need of more volunteers for ELL classes, canoe and kayak instruction, guidance on Canadian history or cultural experiences, and baking class instruction.
