United Worship 2024

24Oct, 2024

In Revelation 7, God gives us a vision of what our endgame looks like:

After this I looked, and behold, a great multitude that no one could number, from every nation, from all tribes and peoples and languages, standing before the throne and before the Lamb, clothed in white robes, with palm branches in their hands, and crying out with a loud voice, "Salvation belongs to our God who sits on the throne, and to the Lamb!" And all the angels were standing around the throne and around the elders and the four living creatures, and they fell on their faces before the throne and worshiped God, saying, "Amen! Blessing and glory and wisdom and thanksgiving and honour and power and might be to our God forever and ever! Amen (Rev. 7:9-12).

We long for the day when people from "every nation, from all tribes and peoples and languages" will worship our God together. What a glorious day that will be! However, we do not have to wait until that day to experience this kind of worship that becomes an expression of how we—who come from different backgrounds and walks of life—can be united in Christ who redeems us by the amazing gift of his life, death, and resurrection.

On Saturday, November 23, 2024, we will be hosting our annual United Worship event at 5PM in the chapel. As we submit to God's word together, we live as one in the family of God as a part of his body—the church. We will express this oneness as we worship God together in both Korean and English simultaneously as our bilingual worship team leads us in singing in both languages, and we will sit under God's word together as David Horita, the Regional Director of the Fellowship Pacific, shares the word of God with us. After the service, we will share a meal together as the Korean Ministry team will provide dinner for us. Please join us to worship our God through this unique worship service and to break bread together with our fellow Korean brothers and sisters.
