Even the harshness of winter, which makes all living things shrink, could not stop our lives from moving forward. Just as barley seeds are sown in the fall, endure the winter, and are harvested in early summer, we, who have received the life of Jesus Christ like barley bread, have also gone through seasons of cold and hardship. Yet, through these trials, God has shaped us into stronger individuals. With gratitude for God's grace that has sustained us thus far and with a heart full of hope to live this year by faith, we are preparing for a worship service which will take place on March 8th at 5PM in the Chapel. The Korean worship service has always been a very special gathering—a place to encounter God, with fellow believers and new family members. In every encounter, God has granted us joy and inspiration. We praise God for his work in our worship. Delicious food and snacks will also be provided. This will be a meaningful time to start the new year with strength and faith. Please spread the word to the Korean community around you!
모든 생명들을 움츠리게 하는 겨울의 혹독함도 우리의 생명을 멈추게 할 수 없었습니다. 보리씨는 가을에 심겨져 겨울을 온전을 보내고 난 후 초 여름에 추수를 하게 되듯이, 보리떡과 같은 예수 그리스도의 생명을 먹은 우리들은 마치 겨울과 같은 추위와 아픔의 시간을 보내왔지만 그것을 통해 오히려 더욱 단단한 내면을 가진 사람으로 이끌어 오셨습니다. 지금까지 우리를 지켜주신 하나님의 은혜에 감사하고 또한한해를 믿음으로 살아가길 소망하는 마음으로 3월 8일 오후5시에 채플홀에서의 예배를 준비하고 있습니다. 한인 예배는 지금까지 매우 특별한 만남의 장이 되었습니다. 하나님과의 만남, 성도와의 만남, 새로운 가족과의 만남을 허락하셨고 모든 만남안에서 기쁨과 감동을 허락하셨습니다. 우리의 예배안에 역사하신 하나님을 찬양합니다. 맛있는 음식과 간식 또한 준비되어 있습니다. 이번 한해를 힘차게 시작하는 매우 뜻깊은 시간이 될 것입니다. 주변에 계신 한인 분들에게 많이 알려주세요.
